When Ford introduced the Mustang in the mid-sixties it was the right car for the right time and it was an instant hit. This Mustang script is popular just because so many people have such great memories of this car. And what do we cut it from? Oh right! We cut the Mustang script from mild steel that is a little thicker than 1/8 inch.
No two cutouts of this piece are exactly the same. If heat marks form during the cutting of a piece, we leave it. Also know that our mild steel is stored outdoors in the weather and it changes over time. So it’s always possible there could be mild surface rust. And if there are blemishes, marks or indentations, those are left in the steel too.
