There’s no mystery where Ford got the name Galaxie 500 from. It was the sixties and the excitement of the Space Race was where it was at.
No two cutouts of this piece are exactly the same. If heat marks form during the cutting of a piece, we leave it. Also know that our mild steel is stored outdoors in the weather and it changes over time. So it’s always possible there could be mild surface rust. And if there are blemishes, marks or indentations, those are left in the steel too.
We cut this logo from mild steel that is a little thicker than 1/8 inch thick.
