Description
The Ford 289 metal cutout is based upon the badge Ford used for some of its small block engines. We cut this piece from mild steel a little thicker than 1/8th inch.
No two cutouts of this piece are exactly the same. If heat marks form during the cutting of a piece, we leave it. Also know that our mild steel is stored outdoors in the weather and it changes over time. So it’s always possible there could be mild surface rust. And if there are blemishes, marks or indentations, those are left in the steel too.
