The Corvette ZR 1 logo is cut from mild steel a little thicker than 1/8 inch.

Our mild steel is stored outdoors in the weather and it changes over time. So it’s always possible there could be mild surface rust. And if there are blemishes, marks or indentations, those are left in the steel too.
