The Plymouth Cuda’ script is short for Barracuda. Just in case you are one of the initiated who doesn’t know. The Barracuda was introduced in 1964 and Chrysler continued to produce them until 1974.
No two cutouts of this piece are exactly the same. If heat marks form during the cutting of a piece, we leave it. Also know that our mild steel is stored outdoors in the weather and it changes over time. So it’s always possible there could be mild surface rust. And if there are blemishes, marks or indentations, those are left in the steel too.
At the car shows, it always seems like it’s the distressed ones that go first. So if you like your stuff shiny, this cutout is probably not for you. That said, we cut this logo from mild steel that is a little thicker than 1/8 inch thick.
